Deborah - Mother
She shows her love and support for me every day through text messages and phone calls. I receive text messages of inspiration throughout my day and week from my mom. She knows how passionate I am about helping my children at work and supplies materials when she is able too!
Elaine - Grandma
I am the only granddaughter so the love I receive from my grandma is even greater! She still calls and remembers the important times/accomplishments in my life. Even with all of the hard times her and my grandpa are going through she is still such a strong woman and role model for me.

Radek - Boyfriend
We have been together for years and we have both put things off to accomplish our dreams. He helps me with homework (if he can), preparing activities for my classroom and calming me down when I get overwhelmed. Radek is the perfect balance for me and encourages me to not give up. He is starting his own business right now so we are both starting new adventures and will have to learn to support each other through the ups and downs.

Dave - Step-dad
Dave encourages me to continue my education and believes in me. He received his Master's as well so he knows the value of higher education. I know that I can count on Dave when I need homework help or advice on where to go with my life - he is an H.R. Manager, reitred police officer and counselor so he is a GREAT listener! Some of my friends will ask if they can talk with Dave because he shows encouragement not judgement.

Steve - Dad and Pamela - Step-Mom
My dad and step-mom are constantly helping and supporting my work place and children - they love to donate books, clothes, etc. to the children in my classroom. My parents know where some of my parents are coming from because they raised six children on very limited salaries so now that they are able to help they love to! My dad enjoys talking to me about my families because he knows how passionate I am about helping them succeed.
They also support me with my education goals; both financially and with encouragement.
* I could not leave one of my family members out so I chose one more than the assignment asked for. Even though, there are plenty more that support and love me.

Thank you, Natasha! I know it is suppose to be a childhood web but I feel like I wouldn't be in this program if it was not for my boyfriend so I had to add him in.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to still have your grandmother in your life. My grandmother is no longer with us, but the memories keeps her alive. It is good to have the support of your family and your boyfriend. I admire how you both are supporting each other's dreams.
